TOKIO INKARAMI Snowboard長谷川 帝勝HASEGAWA Taiga
Starting snowboarding at the age of four, HASEGAWA Taiga made his competitive debut at eight.
From an early age, he emerged as a promising young talent, gaining attention in the junior circuit. In 2021, He won the Big Air event at the Junior World Championships. Further solidifying his international reputation, he became the first Japanese athlete to win a gold medal in Big Air at the 2023 World Championships. That same year, he also claimed victories in both Big Air and Slopestyle at the Junior World Championships, proving his prowess on the global stage.
In the 2024 X Games Big Air event, he dominated with an overwhelming performance to take the win. In 2025, he secured the overall title in the Big Air discipline at the World Cup, as well as the overall championship, demonstrating consistent strength and excellence.
A particularly remarkable achievement came in September 2023, when he became the first person in the world to successfully land 5.5 rotations (1980s) in all four directions: backside, frontside, cab, and switch backside. This groundbreaking feat sent shockwaves through the snowboarding world.
Looking ahead to t2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, he is determined, declaring, “If I’m going to compete, I’m aiming for the gold medal.” A young new leader for Japan, full of ambition and promise.
